Fax to Mail

How it Works?

• All calls that enter a telephone number assigned by CallMyWay® and have been configured as a FAX will operate as a FAX.
• Therefore, received or incoming calls in the FAX format, will be converted into a digital format and sent to a pre-configured email address provided by the customer for such Faxes.
• Mails are received on .tif
• In the client's FAX account, the email addresses authorized to send Faxes will be configured
• Authorized email addresses may transmit their faxes by sending an email to the address (phone number) @ ticofax.com.
• A FAX will be sent with the body of the mail as well as the "attachments" of said mail that come in the formats: PostScript (.ps), PDF (.pdf), TIFF (.tif), Text (.txt), MS Word (.doc, .docx), OpenOffice (.odt)
• Because this is a FAX service, which is a phone call, the service is charged based on the duration of the call sent by the FAX.
• In the event that the FAX has not been sent in its entirety, the service retries to send it and if it is not achieved a notification is sent to the mail.
• Retries are made from where the previous retry ended, thus avoiding unnecessary reprints of pages by the recipient.
• Once the fax is sent successfully, the sender receives a confirmation of the mail sent.
• If unsuccessful retries have passed for a fax, a failed Fax notification is received, in order to retry or re-send.
• The service has a configuration charge of US$ 5 or ¢ 2500
• The service has a monthly charge of US$ 5 or ¢ 2500
• The service can receive an unlimited number of incoming Faxes per month without additional charge
• In the case of Faxes sent to Costa Rica, the charge is ¢ 10 per minute.
• Because this is a FAX service, which is a phone call, the service is charged based on the duration of the call sent by the FAX
• The FAX service allows up to 5 users per FAX number, each additional user has an extra charge of US $ 1 per month.
• In case you do not receive any confirmation, you should immediately report to support for review.
• Due to the different versions of the acceptable files for faxing, some may be incompatible. In case of an error, please notify support.
